Recent and Current Exhibitions

The Bolton Camera Club meets weekly throughout most of the year and gives a very warm welcome to visitors and new members. We have been sharing a passion for photography since 1884 and are more than happy to share with you, whether your interest is in film or digital, audio visual or more technical aspects of photography.

Having enjoyed a very successful four weeks in late October early November 2016 at Waterstones bookshop, our Autumn Exhibition of 48 prints has yet again been very popular with the public. We received over 300 voting slips, several of which had added compliments on the overall quality of our prints on show.

The print with the highest number of votes was “Jumping Red Squirrel” by Richard Towell, with 38 votes.

In second place with 23 votes was “Mr and Mrs” by David Barker. In third place with 22 votes was “Zebras at the Waterhole” by Brian White.

All the prints and their scores can be seen by clicking on the attached pdf below.

Our thanks go to the manager and staff at Waterstones for allowing us space to put on our exhibition, and thanks also to all the public who voted and enjoyed our prints. We look forward to returning with more prints for our Spring / Summer exhibition.
