The Bolton Camera Club meets weekly throughout most of the year and gives a very warm welcome to visitors and new members. We have been sharing a passion for photography since 1884 and are more than happy to share with you, whether your interest is in film or digital, audio visual or more technical aspects of photography.
Print Competition No 5 October 17th 2019
On Thursday 17th October the club held its fifth print competition and the final one for this year.
The competition attracted a high number of images of a very high standard and our judge for the evening Jeremy Malley-Smith had a very difficult task in selecting the winning images.
There were 2 images that scored the maximum 20 points in the Advanced Level Competition and they were
"Blue Hour" by Ken Tebay "Gannet Surfacing with Fish" by Mike Williamson
In the Intermediate Level Competition there was one image awarded the maximum 20 points and that was
"Repair Shop" by Peter Corser
In the Club Level Competition again there were two images awarded the maximum 20 points and they were
"Toyota MR2" by Phil Burns "Cley Mill at Dusk" by Albert Moore
