Monthly Competition Results

The Bolton Camera Club meets weekly throughout most of the year and gives a very warm welcome to visitors and new members. We have been sharing a passion for photography since 1884 and are more than happy to share with you, whether your interest is in film or digital, audio visual or more technical aspects of photography.

Our first print competition of 2017 took place on Thursday 16 February, and we welcomed George Steel CPAGB LRPS BPE1 from Bury PS to be our judge. There were 78 prints on the night, our highest number of prints in one competition for a while.

As we now have three groups, the 20 prints from our Club Level members were presented to George first. He held four back, and gave the full 20 points to “A Pair of Chuffin’ Puffins” by Mark Woodcock.
