Monthly Competition Results

The Bolton Camera Club meets weekly throughout most of the year and gives a very warm welcome to visitors and new members. We have been sharing a passion for photography since 1884 and are more than happy to share with you, whether your interest is in film or digital, audio visual or more technical aspects of photography.

Professor Terry Hewitt acted as our judge on 27th November 2014, looking at members' fashion images.  Terry was appreciative of members' efforts and had some good advice to give, particularly concerning portraits. Other topics arising included points on composition, lighting and pattern pictures.

This being the last round of theme competitions for 2014, we now know that the Roy Williamson trophy has been won by Richard Towell. Another good result for Richard - well done!
