Our Autumn Exhibitions in Waterstones has come to an end after its four week run, and the public have again been impressed with the display from some of our members. A total of 329 public votes were cast, with 31 going to “Marbled White Butterfly in Evening Light” by Brian White. In second place with 24 votes was “Female Kingfisher “ by Pat Berry, followed by “Evening Sun on Coniston Water” by Derek Ainsworth with 21 votes, just one vote ahead of “Red Kites” also by Pat Berry.
As well as voting some members of the public added pleasing comments to their voting slip, including “Amazing” and “….Hard to Choose” and “Thank you for such a lovely display.” One kind person from a nearby camera club added “Well done all….from a Swinton Camera Club member.”
Two members of the public liked the print of “Victoria Hall Bolton” by Dave Liggett so much they each bought a copy.
All the titles, authors, and votes cast can be seen by opening the pdf below.
We thank the members of the public for their votes and comments, and thank the manager and staff at Waterstones for allowing us to put on our print exhibition.
We hope to return in the spring next year.
